How long does it take to get approved?
Most applications are auto-approved within minutes if they pass our quality filter (real email, real company URL, real promotion plan). Applications that require manual review are processed within 48 hours by Gevie, our affiliate program manager.
When and how do I get paid?
Monthly on the 15th, for commissions earned in the prior month. Minimum payout is $100; balances below threshold roll forward. Payouts processed via Tipalti — direct deposit, PayPal, debit card for US affiliates; international ACH, PayPal, debit card for international affiliates. Tax forms (W-9 or W-8BEN) collected automatically during Tipalti onboarding.
Is the 50% bonus tier permanent?
No — it's a limited-time GTM offer for our founding affiliate cohort. Once you unlock the bonus (10+ active referrals), the 50% rate applies to all new referrals for 12 months from your first paying referral. After that, your rate returns to the standard 20% (still industry-leading). Customers acquired during your bonus period stay at 50% for their lifetime under your account.
What's the clawback policy?
If a referred customer cancels within 60 days of their first paid invoice, the commission is reversed and deducted from your next payout. After day 60, commissions are locked — even if the customer eventually churns. The 60-day window exists so we both have skin in the game on customer fit.
How does attribution work?
Last-click attribution with a 90-day cookie window for Pro/Scale and 180 days for Enterprise. The most recent affiliate link clicked before signup gets credit. Commission posts when the customer's first invoice is successfully charged (not at trial signup). Self-referrals are blocked — you can't sign up using your own link.
What products can I earn commission on?
Pro subscriptions ($99/mo), Scale subscriptions ($249/mo), and Enterprise (starting at $799/mo, sales-assisted). Excluded from commission: Lead Credit packs, the Conversation AI add-on, and the Active Listening add-on. Any future add-ons default to excluded unless we explicitly designate them commissionable.
Can I bid on the brand name in Google Ads?
No. Bidding on "SocialMediaDMs," "Social Media DMs," our trademarks, or close variants is prohibited and results in termination from the program. Everything else — organic content, social posts, email, podcasts, paid ads on non-brand keywords — is fair game.
Do I need to disclose I'm an affiliate?
Yes — and we make it easy. The portal has FTC-compliant disclosure templates for every channel (IG, email, podcast, blog, video). Required by US law and good practice everywhere. Audiences who feel respected convert better anyway.
What if my country isn't on the eligible list?
At launch we support US, UK, Canada, Australia, EU member states, and the Philippines. If your country isn't supported yet, drop a note to [email protected] — we're expanding as our payout infrastructure matures.
Can I be an affiliate AND a customer?
Yes. Many of our best affiliates are customers themselves. You just can't sign up for the product using your own affiliate link (self-referrals are blocked). Buy as a normal customer through the standard signup flow.
